Jason McNabb, anchor / multimedia journalist

Jason McNabb has been a member of the KVIA ABC-7 team as a multimedia journalist since the spring of 2022, and joined the Good Morning El Paso Weekend team as a co-anchor in January of 2023.

A New Mexico native, he was born in Alamogordo and raised in Albuquerque, attending and graduating from Eldorado High School in 2017. He decided to move to the Borderland to attend New Mexico State University. 

After switching between majors, he fell in love with journalism and began working at NMSU'S flagship newspaper, The Round-Up, as both a writer and a photographer. The KRWG News 22 program eventually drew him into the world of broadcast. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communications in the fall of 2021.

After graduating, he decided to stay in the Borderland and work at KVIA, splitting time between both Las Cruces and El Paso.
